Graham Phillips is owner of The Marketing Group a UK based sales and marketing consultancy business and owner of Business Network (Mersey) Ltd which organises network lunches around the North West. He is also Managing Director of Strand Technology Ltd who provide specialist software solutions to the NHS.

Graham has experience in a number of industry sectors. He started his career working in the travel industry dealing with both business and domestic travel requirements. There followed a period of working in the retail sector, holding a number of senior positions, he then ran one of the largest sales operations in the North West of England for a newspaper publisher. Director level positions followed in a number of companies.

For the last twenty years Graham has developed a range of business interests. The Marketing Group provides strategic sales, marketing and customer care training and consultancy. The Business Network (Mersey) Ltd, is a networking operation for senior decision makers with monthly meetings held around the North West, The Appointments Factory is a telephone appointment making service and Feedback Factory specialises in collecting customer feedback for a variety of companies. In 2004 he led a management buy out at Strand Technology and has built the company to be the leading supplier of specialist software to the mental Health sector of the NHS and is developing sales in Canada, Australia and Middle East.

Graham was a founding Director of the local radio station for Warrington in Cheshire, Wire FM and is an occasional lecturer at Manchester Business School and Bangor University.

He is much in demand as a conference speaker and is a well-respected seminar presenter travelling throughout England, Europe and the Caribbean.

In his spare time Graham is very involved with The Scout Association. He is Chairman of Warrington Scouts, is a member of the County Executive Committee and represents the Cheshire at National level. He directs Warrington Scout Gang Show and organises a large week long international camp held on the Agricultural Show Ground every four years, which attracts around 5,000 participants from around the world.
